Context & Problem Statement
The "My Profile" section in the Dario Health App serves as a central hub for customizing the users health conditions, personal details, and account settings. Previously, clinical and account information was scattered across multiple locations, leading to confusion, lower engagement, and navigation inefficiencies. The challenge was to reorganize, streamline, and enhance usability while maintaining accessibility.

Goals
Improve navigation and organization of profile-related information.
Enhance user engagement by making key health insights more accessible.
Ensure seamless integration with existing clinical and account management features.
Implement event tracking to monitor user interactions and optimize workflows.
Business Goals
Increase user retention by streamlining the profile management experience.
Enhance engagement with health insights and self-management tools.
Support scalability for future feature additions, including oral medication tracking.
Ensure compliance with data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA).
Decrease inbound calls for clarity and basic requirements
Target Audience
Primary Users: Adults aged 30–60 managing chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
Secondary Users: Healthcare providers seeking a seamless experience for monitoring patient data.

Streamlined User Health Profile
A modern redesign of the health profile screen focusing on clarity, personalization, and accessibility.

Editing about me
A well thought through design to add value of user weight and with a toggle between lbs/kg. Mimicking original weighing scale as per our TG

Challenges & Learnings
Balancing Simplicity & Functionality: Kept UI intuitive while ensuring rich health data accessibility.
Ensuring HIPAA Compliance: Worked closely with clinical and security teams to maintain data privacy.
Event Tracking Optimization: Refined event triggers to capture meaningful user interactions.
Post-Launch Feedback & Error Handling
Following the redesign launch, user feedback and error reports were analyzed to further refine the experience:
Key Issues Identified
OTP Validation Logic(UX UI Audit/QA): Users faced difficulties during phone/email verification as the system did not visually differentiate between valid and invalid OTPs. This was caused by missing color and error state handling in the validation logic (Dev level).
Menu Navigation Behavior(User feedback): Some users found the new side menu slightly disorienting at first due to a lack of guiding cues, stemming from incomplete implementation of onboarding flows.
Save/Cancel Buttons Implementation: Users struggled to locate the Save and Cancel buttons in edit sections because their placement and visibility were not adequately prioritized during development.
Improvements Implemented
Enhanced OTP Validation Feedback: Integrated color-coding in the validation logic—green for valid and red for invalid OTPs—along with real-time error messages for better user clarity.
Improved Onboarding Assistance: Added development-led tooltips and user prompts to help users adapt to the restructured side menu.
